Haley’s Food Chat to Move to Fish On in
Lewes De.
Gust Chef Brian Muzik to appear
Local
restaurateur, Matthew Haley will be hosting his popular Food Chat on
Tuesday evening, November 20th at 7PM for the first time at Fish On
in Lewes De. in the Village of Five Points. Food Chat has been held
at Booksandcoffee in Ruddertowne the last 4 years. Haley decided to
move the program to his restaurant Fish On due to it’s growing
popularity. “the class has grown and gotten to the point where we
need more space and also the ability to produce more dishes” Haley
said “having a full kitchen next to the event room where the class
will be held will help a lot” Guest chef’s will appear on a regular
basis. This month’s Guest will be Brian Muzik Chef at NorthEast
Seafood Kitchen in Oceanview. Haley and Muzik will be focusing on
some Thanksgiving specialties for seafood lovers.
Haley is the owner/creator of the SoDel Concepts restaurants, FishOn!
in Lewes, BlueCoast in North Bethany, Northeast Seafood Kitchen in
Ocean View, and the recently opened Catch 54 Fish House in Fenwick
Island. Food Chat, well into it's 4th year, is a regular event for
dozens of local and visiting food lovers and amateur chefs.
Matt, who can also be seen on taped Food Chat segments shown on
local Comcast Cable television, live morning segments on WBOC and
Sea Colonies Beach Eats demonstrates each month, with warmth and
humor, both the ease of preparation and elegance in presentation of
a variety of dishes. Attendees are given the opportunity to ask
questions regarding food purchase, preparation and presentation.
There is no fee to attend and the public is invited. Food Chat is
held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Food Chat will also be held on
Tuesday December 18th at Fish On. A special class dealing with an
all organic menu will also be held at Good Earth Market on Rt. 26 in
