     On Friday, June 24th, a group of generous, loyal friends of SoDel Concepts gathered together at FishOn! for the Global Delaware Fund benefit dinner, an event working towards the opening of a music school for children in Nepal.
     The night began with lovely musical stylings from two Nepalese children whose desire to learn is one of many reasons that this benefit dinner happened. Throughout the evening, a slideshow played, showcasing pictures of Matt and other key members of the Global Delaware Fund with the children of Pranjal Children’s Academy in Nepal. Delicious samplings of food were paired with refreshing drinks as conversation hummed and laughter rang through the room. Silent auction items were bid on in the midst of it all, but everything hushed when the auctioneer began to call on bidders for wonderful items such as original art by Bry, all inclusive, personalized meals by Matt, and gift certificates to SoDel Concepts restaurants.
     All in all, the evening was an outstanding success, raising $29,501.85. Matt, Bry and everyone from SoDel Concepts would like to thank those who attended for their time, generosity and dedication to such a wonderful cause. Namaste.
